Game On...

Great first week of school! I don't know about you but I sure am looking forward to seeing the creative juices flowing in the history classes. With that it mind I want to send out a reminder for my 11th and 12th World Geography and my 9th and 10th US History classes:

World Geography:
Don't forget to bring a shoe box on Monday to begin our diorama projects on landforms of the world. If you would like to see any other information regarding this new project we will be starting be sure to click HERE to be directed to the assignment requirements.

Here's an example of what you will be creating...
US History:
Beginning Monday, August 31st, through September 24th, we will begin collecting toilet paper rolls for an upcoming project. I have to admit I am certainly excited about seeing the final result of our Toilet Paper Roll Cabin we will be constructing using toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, and wrapping paper rolls.

Check out this example...

The student who brings in the most rolls during this time period will receive the following prizes:
  • A No Homework Pass to be used on any homework assignment of the student's choosing and the teacher's discretion
  • +5 points on the lowest Test score during this first nine weeks period
For any other information regarding this project click HERE to check it all out!

Bring your creativity Monday because it's Game On!!

Back to School...

It's hard to believe that there are just a few days left until summer comes to an end. There's nothing like buying school supplies! Hope you're looking forward to a new year. There are some new procedures that will be implemented this year and some brand new creative projects I am certainly excited about! One thing I learned about last year....I have some very, VERY creative students! Can't wait to see how you'll shine this year! Until Tuesday...
