Before you being your lessons for this week in US Geography, please head over and check out your Weekly Schedule HERE. We are beginning chapter 8 which will be spread out through the remainder of the school year. Whenever we study a region of the United States, you will then choose a state and complete a small project associated with that state.
For this week, we are beginning with the Northeastern part of the United States. You'll notice in google classroom the states, captials, and abbreviations worksheets that you will be completing for this section. These worksheets may sometimes not have the exact states in that region, but that won't be a problem. By the time we are done in May, you will have reviewed all fifty states, with both their captials and abbreviations.
For this week, you will be watching The Northeast Video Part 1 and the Northeast Video Part 2. Be sure that you have already read and made an oultine before watching the videos and taking notes from those lectures. Both of these will be graded and recorded as a quiz grade in my gradebook.
Please be sure to check out google classroom to complete all your homework assignments except for the Activities worksheet that you will find in your packet for this week. Let me know if you have any questions!
