Scientific Method Video Bonus...

Second-Hand Uniforms...

The first day of school is right around the corner! If you're in need of uniforms, I have a stock of second-hand uniforms, still in great condition, for sale. Feel free to contact me if your interested in trying on a particular size. Physical Science Bonus Video...

In 9th and 10th Physical Science we have been studying the history of the atom, it's structure, and it's nucleus. Below are two videos from the lecture on Tuesday, March 13th. The first is from Mr. Anderson at Bozeman Science and describes what happens when the nucleus decays or is bombarded with particles. The second video shows how we use nuclear science in our homes today. Watch how our standard home smoke detectors work using the concepts from this section of the chapter. If you watch both videos, you will be eligible for +10 Bonus Points on Quiz 16C scheduled for Thursday, March 14th.

 

History of the Atom...

For those who missed 9th and 10th Physical Science on Friday, March 8th, below is a video that will correspond with the notes for section 16A in our book. We're leaving Physics behind for now and working out way into the Chemistry portion of science. No Research Paper Workday...

There will be no workdays on Wednesday, January 30th, due to the snow day on Tuesday. Your additional twenty-five notecards will still be due on Friday, and I will try to allow more time at the end of class for you to work on them over the next  ouple of days. Hope you enjoyed your day off!

Research Paper Workdays...

Here is a reminder that your first workday for your Research Paper is Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Be sure to have information that you have brought in from home to work on your project. Your textbook may not be used as a source. Also, asking to go to the library to get an encyclopedia because you forgot to bring any information to class will not be acceptable. You will receive a 0% toward your Participation Grade which will be recorded at the end of the project for a test grade.

Your Brainstorming Page and your Tentative Outline (minus Thesis Statement) are due to be checked on Friday, January 18, 2019.
