Can You Find...

We're counting down to the end of school. Don't know if you realize it or not but this next week we start the month of May! So there won't be too many more of these Can You Finds? left for us to do. So in preparation for the Memorial Day Churchwide Picnic, I'm hiding the picnic basket above somewhere on this blog. Can you find it? If you do, add it to the end of your next quiz for an +5 Bonus Points on your next quiz. Here you go....

Biology Chapter 18 Study Guide...

Tomorrow, April 20th, is the chapter 18 test for 9th and 10th Biology. Simply click HERE to be directed to the Quizlet flashcards for this chapter. These will be a great review for you BUT don't forget to go over the questions I went over in class when we reviewed each day as well as the worksheet over section 18.1. Electromagnetism Videos...

The 11th and 12th have had a break in Physics these last three days for SAT testing. Since our test over chapter 21 is Friday, April 13th, be sure to study our review last week over sections A and B and the worksheet you completed and we graded today in class.

If you'd like to earn some extra credit (+3 Bonus points) for the test, watch these three videos below and leave a comment to earn your bonus. We watched these videos in class for each section (A, B, and C) last week, but I thought you may need a refresher over the chapter.

Mr. Anderson from Bozeman Science and his video on a Magnetic Field of a Wire...
Mr. Anderson and his video on Electromagnetic Induction...
And a video on the DC Motor from Learning Engineering...
Please leave a comment below that you watched or you will not get your extra credit points.

Can You Find....

It's April, y'all! Only a few more weeks of school left. Hang in there and work at keeping those grades up! After SAT's are over with on Wednesday, April 11th, we will be back to regularly scheduled programming...no student teacher. You'll just have me. So that means we are back to finding a picture hidden somewhere on this blog for +5 Bonus Points on your next quiz. Read? Set? Go....

Coke Bottle Projects...

Both 9th and 10th US Geography and 11th and 12th World History classes are working on projects involving Coke Bottles. I've been watching as students have been putting them together and am well pleased to see so much "out of the box" thinking! Way to Go!!!!

So here is just a reminder that for both classes, these projects are due on Friday, April 13th. For the 11th and 12th this project is due at the beginning of class. For the 9th and 10th you will have Friday as a workday with the project being due at the end of class.

Also do not forget about your essays that are to accompany your "person". I look forward to seeing the final products!!
