Physical Science Bonus Video...

In 9th and 10th Physical Science we have been studying the history of the atom, it's structure, and it's nucleus. Below are two videos from the lecture on Tuesday, March 13th. The first is from Mr. Anderson at Bozeman Science and describes what happens when the nucleus decays or is bombarded with particles. The second video shows how we use nuclear science in our homes today. Watch how our standard home smoke detectors work using the concepts from this section of the chapter.
