On Friday, April 3rd, you are to take the US Geography Quiz p. 130-143. Here are some things to look over before you take the quiz;

  • The highest point in North America
  • Definition of piedmont
  • The state of the "lower forty-eight" states is the largest in area
  • The event that forced the tightening of borders between the US and Canada
  • The Great Lake that is entirely within the border of the US
  • The name for the line of water falls where rivers drop from the Piedmont to the Coastal Plain
  • Term that describes the area where water flowing down the eastern side of the moutnain flow to the Atlantic and those flowing down the wester side flow into either the Great Lakes or the Gulf of Mexico
  • The area characterized by flat grasslands and a dry climate
  • The two things that are gifts from God
This should help you as you prepare to take your quiz! Once you are done, please take a picture of your quiz and text it to me so I can check it. Then you may keep it (do NOT turn it in your packet on Monday) to use to study for your Test 7 next Friday, April 10th.
