11th/12th Government Schedule Change...

For my 11th and 12th grade Government class: For Friday, September 11th, I had a video scheduled to watch in class called Keys to Good Government. This is a fantastic video but since we will still be doing our classes remote on Friday, I have switched Monday's assignments with Friday's. We will watch the video our first day back to class on Monday, Setpember 14th

I also had a Current Event scheduled for Friday, Setpember 11th, but have moved that in the schedule for you to complete on Monday night for homework. You will then present your article on Tuesday, September 15th. Make sure your article pertains to our national politics and not world politics.

All changes have been made in your Weekly Assignments under Government. Please be sure to note these changes so as not to cause confusing. If you have any questions, feel free to message me or ask during our Zoom classes.

Looking forward to another great week of learning!!

Going Remote...

All Weekly Assignments for my classes have been updated to reflect what we will be covering and what you need to complete for our first week of remote learning. All written homework and quizzes will be completed in your Google Classroom and will upload on the day they are assigned. Tests for Physical Science, Chemistry, and US History will be taken in your Google Classroom as well. The test assigned for American Government will be in your packets that you will pick up on Sunday, August 30th. The Thesis Graphic Organizer for Chemistry will be in your packet, and will be due in your packet along with your outline for your Qualitative/Quantitative Essay on the next Sunday, September 6th. Hopefully we will only have to be remote for up to two weeks...as long as no one else comes down with any symptoms.

Please let me know if you have any questions! Check out your Google Classroom Streams for updated info pertaining to each class.

9th/10th US Geography Ch. 8 Lecture Videos...

Before you being your lessons for this week in US Geography, please head over and check out your Weekly Schedule HERE. We are beginning chapter 8 which will be spread out through the remainder of the school year. Whenever we study a region of the United States, you will then choose a state and complete a small project associated with that state.

For this week, we are beginning with the Northeastern part of the United States. You'll notice in google classroom the states, captials, and abbreviations worksheets that you will be completing for this section. These worksheets may sometimes not have the exact states in that region, but that won't be a problem. By the time we are done in May, you will have reviewed all fifty states, with both their captials and abbreviations.

For this week, you will be watching The Northeast Video Part 1 and the Northeast Video Part 2. Be sure that you have already read and made an oultine before watching the videos and taking notes from those lectures. Both of these will be graded and recorded as a quiz grade in my gradebook.

Please be sure to check out google classroom to complete all your homework assignments except for the Activities worksheet that you will find in your packet for this week. Let me know if you have any questions!

11th/12th Physics Chapter 19 Lecture Videos...

Be sure to check out your Weekly Schedule HERE before heading over to watch your weekly video lectures HERE. For this week, your BJU Physics videos are broken into five sections: 19A Part 1, 19A Part 2, 19B Part 1, 19B Part 2, and 19B Part 3. You are to be watching a lecture video each day, meaning your test over chapter 19 will be next Monday, April 20th.

Homework for Physics, whether it be section review questions or the worksheets, will all be in google classroom. Be sure to complete them before Monday, April 20th, including the videos for how to work the problems that I will be posting throughout the week. This all plays into your two notebook grades that are recorded on test days for homework grades.
